"Logan Golden: A Heart of Service. A Mind for Healing. A Voice That Shines."
Over the years, Logan has poured his heart and energy into uplifting his community and those around him. His dedication to service and leadership was evident during his undergraduate years at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he earned the prestigious Outstanding Graduate Award. As a student leader, he made a lasting impact through his roles in the Student Government Association, Black Student Association, Gospel Choir, UTM Housing Authority, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
After graduating, Logan pursued his passion for mental health by earning a master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. His expertise and drive led him to become the youngest board member of the Special Olympics of Greater Memphis, where he helped organize life-changing programs for athletes across the tri-state area.
Now, as a dedicated mental health professional, Logan serves as an adjunct addictions counselor at the Salvation Army and works as a psychotherapist at Experiential Healing Center. His mission? To empower minority communities by fostering growth, healing, and self-discovery.
But long before his career in mental health, Logan’s first love was music. A gifted musician, he mastered the piano at a young age and earned spots in honor bands across Tennessee for his exceptional trumpet skills. In college, he took his passion further, leading as president and director of his collegiate gospel choir, Voices of Harmony. To this day, he remains deeply connected to his musical roots, singing with his church praise team and seizing every opportunity to share his gift with the world.
